    does anyone have one i can borrow in a few weeks?

    Due to the design of the 60º block, deck plates are not needed while boring/honing. The head bolts are not close enough to the cylinder walls to pull them out of place while torqued down.

    This however was told to me by a professional engine rebuilder when I asked about it a few years ago, so take it for what its worth.
