  • what distributor for 3.4?

Depending on what kind of deal I can find on a wiring harness and computer, I may ditch the camaro fuel injection and DIS.

If I do, what are the best choices for ignition. Is there a factory "stand alone" ignition (no computer required) that will work in the 3.4?

If so, what kind of $$$ should I expect to pay?

Yes you could use a non computer controlled ignition (mechanical) ignition. Get a distributor from an old car or truck that used a carburetor.

Any Carbed 2.8 S-10 truck distributor will work. If you get one from a car, it must be from a 1980. The '81 and newer carbed cars used an electronic carb and electronic distributor.
