Really? The car pulls harder in a higher RPM in second gear? Since we have the same motors, would that also be true for mine?
How much overall did you gain w/ the 60*v6 chip? Was it notably better?
'93 Sunbird. 5spd, 3.1, it's fast. Oh, and 240k miles has proven lethal against Turbo Talons

I'm lurking occasionaly. It's tough because I'm usually too busy with the Army or my 5.0 Mustang. Which is for sale.

you don't have the same motors. the 3100 has a roller cam and a different intake. i found my 97 lumina to be faster if i shifted it at6000rpm in first and second due the the fact the power really comes on about 4200rpm. almost seems like i'm giving it half throttle then at 4200rpm, i roll it to the floor. even the engine sounds different. if i let the car shift at 5500rpm, the rpm would drop to about 3800rpm, below that power jump. if i wait to 6000rpm it drops right to 4200rpm where it's making all that extra power. for me it was like anything below 4200rpm, it was low on power, or untuned.

depends on what car you are talking about. beretta, cavalier, if an auto with the 125C, the FDR should be 3.18. 5 spd, you're outta luck. if you have an auto, you can't change the FDR unless you convert to a 4t60. then you can go from 3.33, 3.43, and 3.73.
