    I make those EGR adapters btw... But since I'm OBDII I wouldnt need one.

    I'll think about it, but for now the 3400 upper will be going on. If I get crazy or I'm not happy with the power band then maybe I'll invest in the parts to swap it over.

      EDIT AGAIN: I re-read the thread and noticed it's in your basement, isn't that going to be a pain to get back up the stairs?!

        My house the basement has a drive way around back... The garage is in the basement.... I imagine the same for Jon..

            That basement has a 1/3 exposed or something like that... No garage on this one but there is a door level to the driveway, so yeah getting it out is very easy.

            I live out in the hills... None of this flat chit

            A few pics I have posted of a basement/garage deal is where I live in Ledyard at my g/f fathers house... He has a garage in the basement. Unfortunately I think the swap will be happening at my parents house which is an outside garage... It shouldnt be too cold though.

                  HAHA yeah I wish it was... then I might sleep a little better at night knowing my chain wont strech due to the cam and springs...

                  Pushrods will be in on monday, so I'll be able to install those with the rockers... lower intake I finishe being ported... I may just go over it again with the flapper wheel and I still need to open up the upper plenum. coming along, Not much has changed since my last photos since I'm still waiting on my pushrods.

                  Only other issue right now is the race car is probably 3/5 done and practice is on the 31st so its cram time for that so I havent had any time to finish porting... Oh well

                    Looks like a nice build. I would have kept the 3500 uim also, but that is just me. It really woke up my little 3100. I also had the 70mm tb so that helps I'm sure. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what it puts out.

                      It’s done....




                      Well completely assembled at least. Now I just need to finish port work on the upper and get my LSD in my car before I swap motors so I can break it in without beating on it with this new engine... Swap will probably go down in about 2-3 weeks.

                          Yup, got it Saturday. It’s made slightly different this time, which equals no problems with axle removal, and more preload on the springs...

                          I hope to swap it over this Friday... I have a free morning... I just hope the weather is nice. Then 500 miles of easy driving, and by that time I should have enough free time to take a day off and swap the engine.

                              Its all built, I still haven't finished the upper porting yet...

                              I've been really busy with other work. I want to get this in soon but I'm debating swaping in a transmission at the same time, which would push my date back a few more weeks... Need to see if I can budget the trans though.

                              I saw some neat things in a 99 that I recently took apart that I like so I may want to go to a 99 and swap my LSD parts into it.

                              I really want this in too... and I wanted to dyno the current motor but hell with that one... I cant wait trust me, but I have way too much chit going on.

                              Currently Building a transmission for someone, Need to do another OBDII harness fix, and also I have the race car work I'm doing, I'm going to Florida May 9th for 7 days, and I'm moving into my apartment on June 1st... TONS O CHIT TO DO

                                That's why you should of ported the 3500 plenum, you'd be done in a hour or so! No runners! hahah Yeah I hear you on being busy.

                                Is there a prob with your harness, or are you doing one for someone else? Did you ever do a write up?

                                What's the cool stuff in a 99?
