  • comp ratio

just wondering since my 3.1 vin t has 8.9 comp ratio and a 3100 has 9.6 and both use the same crank and connecting rods, is the piston what makes the higher comp or is the deck height shorter on the 3100 block? or is it in the combustion chamber? i was wondering what i could do to bump compression in the 3.1. i have already shaved the heads .020"

    pistons are different...

you can swap them in if you want to bump it up a bit...

      i thought the 3100 had a 9.5 CR and the 3400 had a 9.6 CR
