  • Multiple throttle bodies

Does anyone here know of anyone running mutiple throttle bodies on a 660? I eventualy want to go to turbo but was thinking 6 velocity stacks mounted on a 3400 lim would be a nice touch at car shows. An alterative would be a custom made uim with a single tb. Clearance is not an issue for my application. I am currently looking for a 16149396 ecm to swap into it and have started laying out a set of custom headers. I want perfomance but also want a unique/badass look. Give me some feedback.

i don't think you really need to worry about being unique

theres been lots of guys who have run multiple TB's, lots of guys have modified SBC's Hilborn setups to fit, and there was a fiero guy with a custom tubular intake manifold who was running dual throttle bodies.

Yea that would be me. its installed and running but needs tuning. I have yet to get it on a dyno so no idea what it can do. Most stock iron head fiero engiens make around 115 hp or so at the wheels. With the intake I also have some headers and a pulley. Thats about it. These iron heads suck. Dont' flow much.

I need a set of these potter heads and intake!!!! I pretty much have everything else to run that same setup. I would run a 3.1 crank and such but I do have the block and upper end of a gen 3. But shoot I want those potter heads. Screw stock Gen 3 crap. Thats old and busted. Potter is new hottness!

The Potter is I believe Ralph Potter of Indianapolis. Has a chain of Muffler and Brake shops there. Used to run Midgets with Bow Tie V660s.

I'd like to hear him talk at the next V660 get together.

I found out some info. The answer was it front of us the whole time. Instead of trying to find Potter heads, we should ahve been looking for the guy who actually has the engine as I am sure he knows where to get this stuff. And how to contact the people about the heads.

His name is Steve Spoor and he works for the Idaho Transportation Dept. I have his number and since its already on the internet I guess I can post it again. Its prob his work number but I guess its better then nothing right? 208-334-8413 His email addy is SSpoor@itd.state.id.us

I am sure if someone here calls or emails we could get some info on this stuff.

                        Did I do good?

The guy actually knows nothing about them. We have asked him before. He bought the engine like that, and actually did do some searching himself. He mentioned that he knew they had been P&P'd at Indy Cylinder Head, but that was about it.
