  • Has anybody got dyno results for adding headers?

Just curious. I'd like to know if we have either either dyno or 1/4 mi. time results for going to long headers vs. OE manifolds.

Well, I've scene dyno charts showing a 20whp gain on an Alero with a 3400 and supporting mods. I'd venture to guess a 3.1 is going to see 10 - 15whp as well.

    14.60 @ 96.33 for now...

I say you try it and post the results. Help the fiero and the 60 degree community out.

For everyone else out there, he is talking about the iron heads

Surely you've seen some dyno numbers Shaun, you've been in the Fiero world for about ever, right?

I'm actually pretty curious to know, I don't know much about the iron head engines. Little bit before my automotive time.

yep, 19whp from the TOG headers and like 26whp from the SS headers,

I prefer TOG headers because they had better torque numbers and a much better power curve, the ss power curve was very spiky and just about the peak numbers.......

            thanks

            Thanks,

BTW I like the Alero pic. I had a 2000 v6 and it went like a bat even without headers.

              here is some good reading

This website has some good stuff, not v6 but still good.

There is a sub article at the bottom of the page, also good reference.
