Can't find studs for AL heads?

I plan on using AL heads with my 3.1 iron head block. Do I use the studs made for my block or studs meant for the heads?

Just to make sure....

You use studs for your heads.

Example, if you were swapping aluminium heads onto your originally iron head block, using the original inteded studs, would be too short on the inner studs, I believe the other (shorter) studs are the same however.

There is information on this site about what ARP part numbers to order for the studs, but I don't know the numbers off hand. :lo:

they are listed in the Aluminum head info page, I orderd a set from alamo performance or something like that, total was around 230 for the set
