    Here are my final lengths for the pushrods...

    Std. Intake Pushrod 5.744
    Std. Ex Pushrod 6.077

    Delta Intake Pushrod 5.840
    Delta Exhaust Pushrod 6.150

      You need to actually measure. My base lobe is smaller than yours (barely) and I measured it to only need .030 longer. I will measure again when I have the heads on and torqued down to spec in the motor they are going in.

      As far as rolling your eyes cause I have to machine a gear...wow. I had to anyway. It was supposed to be 1.5 degrees anyway so it doesn't matter if I gotta cut it different. 300+ gear work or 480 for a custom cam. It doesn't bother me one bit.

          so to find the length of the new rods you take the difference of the base circles and divide by 2??

            Correct..

            maybe i'm wrong though.. what i see is the lifters sitting .073 and .096 further down in the lifter bores, in order to make up that difference and regain the propper preload i'm adding that difference to the pushrods. Seems all too basic to me.. am i missing something?
