Have fun trying to get that thing to idle. I like the lift numbers but the duration is too much for my taste. Also, I thought you said in another thread that you changed your specs to get 62.5° of overlap?

Yah but apparently my numbers didn't match Delta's avaliable profiles so they made some adjustments..

I'm not too worried, i knew what i was getting into with this cam and i'm prepared to deal with the idle issues. I've ran bigger in computer controlled V8's.. just gotta bump the idle up a few hundred RPM.. or trick the MAP like i'm planning on doing. :P

So it wants you to advance the cam 4 degrees? My similar grind is a 109.5 ICL but calls for 1.5 advance to make it 108. I don't think your specs are possible without advancing the the cam 4 degrees.

here is a compairson of the base circles of the new cam and a stock 3400 cam...

Ben, I'm assuming that's true. That was why i was asking about degreeing in the cam in the other thread.

I'll post up a scan of the card in a little while...

              *edit, here is the card...

I put your cam into my program. PM me with your bore, compression, heads and intakes and exhaust setup, flow numbers if you have them.

no cryo treating.. lol it's going in the engine in the morning.

finish is excellent, looks better than it did before the grind.

for the double roller chain, i wonder if we could use the LSx ones but have the manufacturer make us a longer chain...

the double roller setup for the gen2's may work but who knows... JBP sells them for the 3.1/3100/3400 though. (i'm sure you could get it cheaper anywhere else)

well all i would need is the locations for the "machining" and id take one from cloyes, but those are a 3 bolt and i thought the 3400 cam was a single bolt...

I have a double roller here. That isn't fitting a gen 3 or 4. You have to machine the inside for the bolt hole to fit on the cam, and machine the dowel pin hole to get that to fit. After you do that, you will notice that the timing chian cover has to be machined so much that you will go through the surface. I just got through with all that. Good luck. Ill sell mine that is modified other than the cover for 120. Its adjustable +- 4 degrees at the crank as well.
