Piston wrist pin height???

Other than the 12cc dish what are the other differences in the 3.1L than the 2.8? The piston wrist pin is how much higher in 3.1 piston than the 2.8

Can you get away with running the 3.1 crank on 2.8 pistons? or will it push out the top of the block
