My only question is, with this extra power, what are you gonna do for transmission and traction? Surely the axels and trans will start breaking, and traction will be even worse... I thought your current setup was nice and about at the max for the platform...sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

Are you still looking for a boost cam? As far as specs...max lift is .490 and duration is up to you and the lobe seperation angle should be in the 113-116 range. Basically kinda like a nitrous cam.Clean Feet Pet Clean Up

I'm not all that worried about him breaking the trans. he's already putting probably in the range of 400 ft/lb's through that 250 ft/lb rated tranny......and it's still holding strong...... I'm sure if he's gonna make power levels that much higher he's gotta be looking into rebuilding it anyway.....

the HM282 is rated for 350 HP/350 TQ but has been proven to take 480 lbs of TQ. the Isuzu is a different story...
93ztwo4, i started a website about it. As soon as i have all the info down i'll open it to the public. I'm still working out a few bugs.
fivepointhustla, where did you hear that the max lift was .490? stock 3400/3500 heads are good for .550 with the right springs...

The chevy performance manual says not to exceed .560, but at that level pistons need to be notched, piston to valve clearance WILL be a concern. Sorry I should have said max lift with stock pistons.Clean Feet Pet Clean Up
