    So has anyone actualy tryed to put 3900 heads on a 3.4, or 3400 yet or does it compleatly not work.. I was reading threw the 3900 info, but I fuigured id just ask instead kuss im sure im not the olny one wondering this that dosent feel like reading threw all that

    IIRC, they bolt up totally different, so right there that won't work. And the bore is bigger too...

    Hopefully soon we will be able to get around the VVT cam and then we might see some of us swaping in the 3900. The new VVT 3500 motor uses the same bore as the 3900 but is destroked, and I think doesn't have a varible intake.

      so than the 3500 heads dont fit on the 3400s?

        the older style found in the malibu and g6 work but not the newer style... hate to be an ass and im not trying to but all of this could've been answered with a search
