For race engine applications, there are cams specifically designed for use with nitrous. Typically, these cams will feature a wider-than-normal lobe separation angle, usually around 112° to 114° to keep the nitrous-enhanced intake charge from being purged out through the exhaust valve. Cam changes such as these are only to be performed on racing engines, not stock or near stock applications.

Got my cam. 288.6/291.8 adv duration (.006), 227.2/236.2 dur @ .050" .560/.566 lift. 9 degrees of overlap at .050.

Why overlap at .050?

aren't you supposed to measure overlap with the advertised duration?

The Combusion chambers and valves are going to get coated next week.
60degv6 store's 65mm TB with flowmatched UIM/LIM. Plenum has been opened to 65mm

The shortblock work begins now. I paid it all off yesterday. They have the block disassembled and ready to be worked on. Hopefully the whole engine will be done by march and installed.. But i still don't have $$ for a beef up trans
