Do you have room to run the front bank under the oil pan by using 3500 manifolds?
what if i were to wrap the headers and part of the exhaust?
Im really interested in building a set!
    Thanks,
turbo's are great fun but a lopey 60* is even better!!!sigpic

truthfully, if i were going through the effort of making some turbo headers, I'd just make a conventional turbo setup while I was at it.

        Thanks,
That helps. Go search over on the LS1tech.com forced induction forum for threads on rear-mount turbos and headers. There is lot's of reading.

I agree with Rebel. If you are really wanting to build a set of headers, do a conventional front-mount turbo setup. The improved response and lighter weight should make a huge difference in performance.

          X2

It would also eliminate the long oil lines, return oil pump and the issue of where to mount your air filter.

well i think i have made the decision to do the gen lll manifolds. Its easy, cheap, and should gain some, maybe some day i will do headers.
Ive got the manifolds now, and would like to bolt them on soon.
            THanks,
