86 you need to introduce yourself!!! Rarecarvr is a super nice guy and actually from time to time will sell an item or car or two. But he has to know it'll go to a good home first. Otherwise he'll end up selling you a used up cop car that the taxi guys have already rejected. lol.
93ztwo4, all I can say is good freakin luck!!! Of the roughly 900 VR's built over 2 years, a paltry 83 were 2 doors. One was for sale awhile back that was in MINT condition, it sold for OVER $10,000.00!!!!!!!!!! And, of course, there are fewer than 83 left over the years. I know because I got insanely lucky with my kit. I will post pics later.
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

The person that bought that car lives in my area! Very nice car and it's a 5-speed to boot! Less than 1% of celebs were a stick that year, so it's probably the only one with that combo. I was fortunate enough to see it at a car show, but the owner wasn't around to talk to. That car is even better in person! Oh, and I'll see if I can get in contact with rarecarvr, I'm sure I can learn a thing or two.

WOW!! Small world!!! I have only seen pics of that car and just from the pics, I can tell its real nice. AutoStyle Cars (makers of the VR) claim that this was the ONLY 5 speed VR EVER made, but I know thats b/s 'cuz my kit came off a 5 speed.
Here's some pics, as promised. Sad sad sad.

Those pics make me want to cry. It's a shame a Celeb coupe would end up like that, let alone a VR model! Is that the car you got your parts from? Most of the VR specific parts look useable.

Yup, thats the car that donated the VR kit to me. Only cost like $150 for the kit, 5 speed shifter, and speed dens ecm! Only wish I could have gotten the nose cone but it was gone and I can get one from rarecarvr. Believe it or not, I DID cry when I first seen the pics and even now my heart gets a little heavy when I look at them.

Aren't those u-pull-it yards great. I just installed a rear disc setup from a 88 STE that only cost me 75 bucks. Its just a shame some of those cars end up there though.
