yah sts turbo, the rear mount system from squires turbo systems...www.ststurbo.com i had heard some stuff on gagt.com, but wanted to see if someone got one on a ga to work or not...there is a place in texas called trtturbo.com (texasrearturbos) that does the sts kit and does custom installs. he was lookin into development of a kit for the ga, but i guess it fell through. dallas isnt too far from my area and i might make a trip if he is still interested.

There are at least two members here with a remote-mount setup and had success with it. One has it on an older Cavalier and I believe the other is a Corsica owner.

It'd probably be easier to find a good turbo, oil pump/lines and have an exhaust shop fabricate the piping than to modify an STS kit. There's another thread with more info on this under the Boost section.

well yah, but the only prob is, their patented oil pump scvange system works really well for this setup. and yah i might just look at some tubos, but they use a hybrid style, im not really sure what size ot types the housings are, but i could prob find a universal kit on ebay anyway. i have heard about the cavy and the corsica, but i just wanted to know if anyone did one on a 99+ N body yet to kinda get an idea of how it would route

It's going to route essentially* the same on any car really. It just depends what suspension stuff or gas tank stuff you have hanging in the way. I haven't heard of any rmt grand ams running around yet.

I custom made mine..cost around 2grand total..400 of which was labor at the shop..but then again i didnt use the best parts a could have so now im kinda regreting it..mostly the turbo..i bought a cheap one in hopes i would last atleast a year..i think it will but im losing about 2quarts of oil between changes because of bad seal..plus theres alittle more play then there should be..but im not gonna complain about that little stuff to much cause i can say have the only rear mount corsica that i know of..if not the only turbo one..and going from a 16.8 to a 15.3 on only 5psi was a good feeling
