In the instructions in the store and that came with the EGR adapter, it specifically lists a '96 EGR pipe from the exhaust manifold to the intake. Why is the '96 needed instead of the old '95 I already have? I am having difficulty procuring a '96 pipe as we just had a snow storm here in Denver recently and cruising the yards is absolutely miserable. Can I use the '95 pipe even temporarily?

They look the same but are different enough to not work. You will need the '96 tube.Brian

The bolt offset from the center tube is different, this is why I had to make the threaded holes for the digital EGR rotated from the tapered holes for the tube connection, othewise I would have just centered the EGR over the newer tube, but It's not quite that easy.
Any 96-99 tube will work. Check your local junkyard.
BTW I am the supplier of these adapters so thats why I know so much about them.
