alright i was in the middle of a 3100/3400 head swap on the new engine for my camaro
i had goten a set of gen 2's for free so i had them ported and got 233 cfm @ .500 lift. For the manifold i had started to modify a berreta 3100 lim to clear the dizzy and use full custom runners. i pretty much machined away most of the manifold in order to build my own runners.
Somone on tgo seen my build post and had mentioned the 3500 cyl head and that they have been proven to flow 290cfm around .500-550 lift with port work.
is this true.
How available are these heads in a junkyard?
Will they bolt onto a rwd block.
What kind of manifold would i have to use
would they be worth the swap over my gen2 heads?
btw this engine is turbocharged
