ive been thinking of using the eaton m90 from a supercoupe aswell. i would mount it on about a 45* angle infront of my motor just above the header (heat shields of coarse). i would run a gen 2 water pump (my gen 1 in the cavy/cimmeron timing cover is clockwise rotating) so i can run the bely under it and up onto the charger. id make my own discharge hat and run an air-air intercooler up front. i would run the charger before the throttle body, my worst fear is having a charge pipe blow off then i have no throttle control.

I dont have everything to look at right on hand but if the fuel rail and injectors were in the way, you could close off the OEM holes and mount customized fuel rails on your new plenum, allowing longer time for the fuel and air to mix through a much greater distance than before.

You're really onto something there, almost makes me want to build a supercharger intake just because I can picture it soooo clearly.

I don't think there would be any saved hight though, unless you were meaning that the charger would not be mounted ontop of the engine.

I believe it was '89 to '94or '95 that the Supercoupes were produced.

The chargers are different between the Ford and GM versions, I also believe they are different sizes.
The ford charger has the outlet placed pointing up, so that a an air to air IC could be used, easily.

The GM which I beleive is a bit smaller is built with the outlet on the bottom and attaches directly to the intake manifold, with no IC being used.

there was a upgrade done to the newer sc's by the means of:

coated rotors for improved sealing surfaces,
less tolerance between the rotors so that with the same pully more pressure
(flow) is available and less heat is being produced.

these types are around 350-450$ I think, but the older style
            you can buy for 175-275$.

            go for it.B
            nothing's impossible-it's just a mindset
