  • Header Question

Just got my SS headers and they have a bung welded on the crossover from the front for the EGR, but they dont have a hole drilled to make my egr functional. so i called them up and the guy said that its there just to look stock but that i dont need to hook it up. i just dont wanna set any codes, has anyone run into this before? If so did you run them just like that or drill the EGR hole out?

    Just drill the hole out.

Has anyone tried it without the EGR hole to see what the diff is?

You'll get an SES light, just like everyone else who has unplugged their EGR. Is equal to the same thing. Besides, all you need to do is take 1 min, drill a hole, and you won't have to even worry about it.

You could always get the DHP programmer and kill that little code before it ever gets started. Plus the DHP would only help your GA out anyways.
