  • Question about Ben's Chip

About the chip and the shift points, has anyone ever done that? if so did they really benefit from it? How exactly does that work? I wouldn't mind changing mind my shift points if it helps, but don't want to be stuck with the regret that I made the wrong decision.

    -appreciate it

thats the beauty of a custom chip, you can play with it untill it s how you like it. and you can have 1 chip for race only, and another for city driving ect...

    whats your setup ?

Its hit and miss on the shift points. It depends on how fast your transmission shifts, the power you are making, and just personal preference. If you want to try it and don't like it, you can send it back and I can change them. Its all set by MPH so I can't do a straight "shift at this RPM" in the computer.

I don't have my chip burner back yet but should by the end of the week or next week.

Completely stock(92GPSE), dorky K&N filter that's about it. I plan on a turbo setup (which will be awhile). I city drive, what differences will I see between the streetable chip and the race chip?

Ben, or anyone out there, have you learned anything more on TCC lock up other than at WOT? I'd like mine to force lock up sooner at light throttle.
