      Auto makers use an SAE test for computing horsepower. It gives hp numbers about 4% lower than dyno numbers.

        Well, that is true. Phil had 5 degrees KR minumum on his stock dyno runs. That was a mustang dyno as well which usually gives lower numbers than the hydraulic based machines. They also require correction factors for the fluid temp vs electric dynos.
