trans swap

i can get a 4 speed auto trans from a 89 cutless and i was wondering how much trouble it would be to fit in my 88 z24 would i just have to swap the wireing harnes and ecu or is there more to it ?and does anyone know the gear ratio of this trans ?

the wiring harness and ecu would not need to be changed, all the ecu runs transmission wise is lockup on both the 3 and 4 speed for those years. the biggest concern is axles, the 4 speed is a lot bigger than the 3 speed, so im not sure what you would use for axles, possibly axles from a beretta with a 4 speed auto. you will also need the shifter and cable, and the bracket that supports the tranny be the rear engine mount.
