  • What happened to the rockers

Hey, I really wanted to buy the Crane gold race rockers, what happend to them. Does anybody sell them anymore.

They are still available but I don't know how much longer. If you want them, go ahead and order them now or I may not be able to get anymore. They will be going back early next week.

You will need the gen 2 pushrod guides as well as heat treated pushrods. Originally said studs, but you don't need those as the correct studs are included with the rockers.

You will have to ask him if his rockers will work with guides.

Im not sure I'm following you that well.
I have Only his Polly Aluminum Pushrods. Not his Rockers
My rockers are stock. That why Im going to buy the Crane Gold Rockers from you. You said that I need heat treated Pushrods. So I replied are polly alluminum rods ok.

              I dont know, Im confused.
Heres my check list for the rockers

              Crane Rockers
              Gen 2 Guides

Then they should fit no problem. Right,

I cannot answer your question because I don't have a clue if your pushrods are going to work or not. You need to contact the company you got them from and ask them if they will work with guides.

You stock setup uses roller rockers that have a notch in the head that keeps them in alignment. The crane rockers have no such way of staying in a single line of geometry so you need the guides. GM didn't put guides on them because that would waste money.

Ok cool...My pushrods are identicle to stock so they will work just as well as the stock rods. By the way do the stock rods work with guides as well. Cause if thats the case my pushrods will work fine. When I order the guides, do i just order them from a 97 pontiac Grand Am Gt engine or something.

gen 3 pushrods are not heat treated so they will not work. The guides will be off a gen 2 motor or early gen 3. Just order them for a 91 pontiac grand prix 3.1.

Why do they have to be heat treated.
If thier Poly Alluminum do they still have to be heat treated.
