Fiero motor replacement
Ok, bought a Fiero and turns out the clanking noise in the engine was a broken piston rod that put a hole in the motor. I knew something was up so I bought another Fiero without a title on ebay to pull the drivetrain and replace it the first. (I tried to get a title from Cali but getting ahold of someone is impossible and they keep wanting more money).
Before I go back to the total swap, any suggestions for replacement of the engine? I think I am looking more for quick and cheap at this point rather than performance..
Suggestions? any thoughts on the cheaper engine a junkyard would part with? Any other ways of getting an engine? 2.5L Iron Duke with a big carb? 2.8/3.1/3.4 with a carb or injected??
