Wife just lost the upper idler on the M code 3.1 in the olds....bearing went out on the plastic idler pulley and it literally melted. (the fact she let the engine idle for a while with no coolant pumping is another issue I have to wait and see on)

advance has a new part for $15.50 where the pully is now stamped steel. no more meltdowns.

Hmmm if that gay pulley didn' melt you coulda just got a bearing for 3 bucks. Ohwell.
