  • Broken piece

So I just noticed the coil pack platform is broken in one spot, and what looks to be a conductive part is busted too... Any suggestions? Solder? replacement?

Hmm. may be just a reenforcement peice around the case of the ICM. If that's what I'm seeing...

here's another shot... we soldered it up for now... might still replace it without trying it. I have no idea how the internal structure of this piece works, with the coil pack connections.

what do you say from this pic?

ah ok it's just a metal connection to one of the coil pack inputs. I'd insulate it with some epoxy or even RTV silicone. Should work fine after the repair.

NOPE!!! I went to mopac who thought there is supposed to be a connector there.. he told me to go to lordco and they might have the module. so I go to lordco, he pulls one out... I'll be damned!! there IS supposed to be a plug there, fucking wrecking yard ho's. So the retail on this beast is like $300+ CAD... I 'stole' it for $170 I suppose... it's good to know people.

problem solved, I just can't eat for like 2 weeks now, HAHA

          thnx for the input.

lol yeah there is supposed to be a connector there! I had to turn up the brightness on my monitor all the way to see the whole picture. Yeah tehre should be 3 conenctors on the ICM. lol sorry. That ICM is toast!

yeah I know they are expensive. I've bought them and not needed to before due to a crappy autozone CPS failing that I thought was good since it was new.
