Awhile back I posted about a motor That I overheated and replaced the heads and it still knocked.
Since then I have checked pushrod lengths, re-torqued the rocker arms...
It still knocked and ran like poopie... Oh and it sucked gas like a 454... just no power
So I finally took it to a shop to have it scanned on the computer. The mechianic there said its the knock sensor picking up on the #6 and that it keeps retarding the timing and making it run so. Thus the disagnosis was a cracked piston/wrist pin.
My question is: What is the easiest way of replacing said piston?
So far Im thining tearign the intake and front head off. Then draining the oil and HOPING I can get the oil pan off from underneath?
Feasible?
