Question regarding the coolant routing...

The routing through my intake to the water pump tree is part of the heater core? I want to get rid of the coolant hose through the intake. I searched but didn't find the article I was looking for. If the author of the article can point me in the right direction. Thanks. I think it would be worth some horsepower.

If you're talkin' about that hose that runs up from the lower intake, then connects to that thingy above the water pump... you can't get rid of that. That's they bypass hose. No power to be gained there regardless.
