That's a good check. Also run the engine, pull the line off and plug the vacuum with yer' finger. If gas comes out of the regulator where the line was hooked up, it's bad.

lol could anyone give me an idea where the fpr is & where the vaccuum line is that i need to be checking? just went to autozone & got a dizzy cap, rotor, wires, plugs, & o2 sensor, also i found out 2 of the wires going to my MAF sensor are cut open & exposed, while one is completely broken, u guys think that might have a drastic effect on my gas mileage? lol

My 91 auto firebird gets 23 mpg on highway and 17 mpg in city. But when I first bought it was not even close to that.I had since done major tune up.Check fluids, spark plugs, cables, etc.>My next goal is to get some performance cams.I have three seperate ones I have In mind. But think I know which I will go with.I have a superchip installed I noticed power increase with it.also plan on changeing my rearend differential.I have not heard much talk on this site on that, but it is something I have wanted to do since I Bought the car.

Love this site, always read as much as I can. Got many Ideas off here.
