3.1 L valve lash adjustment

Help All. I just pulled the intake off my 99 Cutlass 58,000 miles. It had a leak at 1 Intake bolt by the thermostat housing. My question is what do I torque the manifold bolts at? Dealer said 10 inch pounds, but that works out to 1.6 foot pounds! Also biggest question, do I just reinstall the rockers and torque them down or do I need to adjust the lash? And if so how do I do it. Sorry for idiotic questions, but the parts manager at the dealer failed to inform me that I would have to pull rockers. I am at a stopping point and feel lost any help would be appreciated. I was not even aware there was a site for my motor. Oh by the way it is a M code motor.

This isn't the same motor, but the tightening specs should be the same.

As far as the rockers, torque to spec and you are done. No adjustments needed. If you click on the Specifications menu item (on the left menu), you can find all of the torque specs for your engine.
