I see GM recomends new bolts. i was wondering if there is any difference between those and the ones ill be removing? they only get torqued to 16 ft lbs. can't be stretched really, is it just the loctite? if thats the case, ill just spend $3 on a tube of loctite rather than $30+ on 8 new bolts.

Hes tlkign about the intake. And no I have never used the new bolts I just used locktite and torqued em all down.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
