YES!! I finally got the Buick fired up yesterday!

I kept testing and testing, and eventually decided to go ahead and buy a new ECM. That still didn't fix it, and I even checked all of the critical wiring from the ECM. All the grounds were good, wiring to the coolant temp sensor was good, etc. It all appeared just fine, but the car would still not spark. It was still acting like it wasn't getting signal from the CPS, but I could see the signal on the wires if I stuck a meter in the connector and cranked the car over.

Finally as I was thinking about it yesterday I started wondering if the electrical connectors themselves were the problem. I tried to be careful while testing, but apparently the test leads on my voltmeter spread out the insides of the connectors just enough that they weren't firmly making contact with the pins on the ICM. I pulled everything out and tightened up the insides of the connectors, and it started making spark!

Drove it around quite a bit last night and it's running great. I'll flush the coolant and change the oil tonight and it should be good to go. Thanks everybody!!
