looks like the timing chain cover seal is leaking. did the lim gasket and oil pump drive seal last week. whole top end is dry. crank sensor, oil switch, rear seal dry. can see oil on lower half of timing seal. oil pan bolts were tight. cam sensor dry too. no way i would ever do the oil pump gasket.life is to short. rather work on my 70 rt 440 six pack challenger. how big a pita is this? any thing too look out for? is the seal installed on inside cover like most engines? be nice if its installed on outside of cover. harmonic balancer press fit or loose fit like old pontiac 400s/ this pig has been leaking for years. thanks for any response.
