    Oh shoosh Brad :P . I did also mention my familys GMs, past and present of which include include a Blazer, a couple G bodies, some B bodies, a few W bodies, and Buick's finest, the Park Avenue Ultra.

      Any German car that comes into my job....if they're not surrounded by money, they usually fart out a kidney when they see the prices of labor and parts, especially parts.

        Yeah... F$%^&* German engineering, yeah right. (what i was thinking while changing the waterpump/timingbelt/seals on my brother's 325i). More off thinking "why does a car need 4 radiator hoses?" and even with the radiator removed there's hardly any room to access the waterpump...

            Yeah, It's Swedish (well, what hasn't been fordified yet)... but do you think they actually know how to make other component parts there? Like the FI and Ignition (bosch) and the suspension parts (Boge?)

              Here's a question. Why doesn't GM just put out a gasket that will eliminate you from having to use RTV where the block meets the LIM? Like a typical valley pan gasket? Am I on crazy pills here or wouldn't that be a better idea?

                  They could have given us one though for our 3100 and 3400's rather than just giving us an "updated" version of the already piss-poor design.
