I was reading a thread on w-body.com and they were talking about a top end engine cleaning by pulling off the booster hose or another major vacuum line and dumping some stuff in that cleans everything out and makes your car smoke like a fire for awhile. As sad as it is, I've never heard of something like this. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. What I'm wondering, is what is the "stuff" to use and what is anyone's recommended procedure for doing this? Thanks again for any help.

the BG company has a good 3-part induction service that will get your engine cleaned up really nice, but you'll probably have to take it to a shop to get it done. they also sell a 1 part cleaner you put in the tank, that doesn't work as well but i've used it before and had good luck with it. you can also go to any auto parts store and get some fuel injector cleaner. i put some in every few months to make sure my engine stays clean and my gas milege up.
