fried wires on 99 malibu old style 3100

i need to know where the fusible link is between the alternator and battery. any info would be greatly appreciated. being at home, i dotn have access to my diagrams at work lol

You know, I'm drawing a blank on this. For some reason I can't decide if they would be like the other technique and be at the starter, or if there is now a fuse in teh fuse box for it. I'm leaning towrads a fusable link at the starter though.

On my 97 Cav I'm pretty sure there was a fuse in the box for it.

Real descriptive huh? How about the connector coming of the Alternator area headed towards the battery?
