  • cold air intake...bad in cold weather?

This is my first winter with a true cold air intake, and I've developed a high idle problem. I was thinking vaccuum leak, but when I popped my hood last night, the only noise I was hearing was my intake whistling as it sucked in air. The idle drops when the sucking stops...could this be my problem?

could be.....but i want to know how fast your car is? I have a friend with a 3100 on N2O and it goes 14.4's. Just looking for a comparison. It is kinda a rare thing to find a 3100 on nitrous.

I've never run it at the track...and I'm starting to have some wonders about how the motor's holding up. But the car has taken out a modded GSX eclipse, a modded 5.0 Mustang, a heavy modded Lexus IS300, and a newer 350z. The car does go OK, these 3100s are torquey lil bastards.
