Yeah, i'm curious too. Did you ever figure anything out on it? Cuz now that mines running good, i've noticed it does the same thing (not sure since i dont have a tach) A tad before rev limit in 2nd gear I notice that it RIPS the timing toward the - side. According to teh a/f guage it's sure not getting lean though.
