  • Big Problem

Well I am currently working on my wife's 1995 3100. I went to the store to get some engine assembly lube, and when I came back, a friend of mine took all of the pushrods out of the motor. He doesn't remember which ones went where, and while I DO have replacement pushrods, and lifters here, I needed to know which ones go where. I don't want to break the heads off of the engine to find out. Can anyone help me out here?

    Thanks in advance.

The long ones go on the exhaust valves. The short ones go on the intake valves.

I know. Looking from the top of the head (remember the heads are still attached to the block) which ones are the intake and which ones are the exhaust? Is there a diagram that I can look at someplace on here bud?

      Thanks again!

Just look into the intake ports. You can easily spot which valve is the intake valve.
