Hi, i'm throwing a code for evap flow during non purge... could somebody help me fix it? I wanted to check the solenoid for carbon but honestly i don't even know where it is. All i can find is the cannister and the vac lines look fine. Thanks!

RE: evap system
The solenoid is right between the engine and firewall. It has a red electrical plug and the largest vacuum line connects to it.Brian

ok i found 2 parts where you said... one looks more like a solenoid and has 3 plugs on it... only 2 of them however are being used then i followed the line to another piece that has a red connector like you said and that piece isn't connected to anything at all it's just hanging there
is there supposed to be another vacuum line connected to that one piece?
also the charcoal cannister has only 2 of 3 plugs used as well.
thanks for your help

Yes, the solenoid is supposed to have two lines hooked up to it. One being the big vacuum line from the engine, the other going to the canister. Look for a loose rubber hose a little smaller in diameter than the vacuum line, which is about a foot long, then is clamped onto what looks like a metal brake line that goes to the back of the car. That's what needs to be hooked up to the solenoid.Brian
