??COLD START INJECTOR??

Does the 89 z24 have a cold start injector and if so what cylinder is it on? Did a search and didnt find anything. If so I think mine is running rich all the time?

I've never heard of any of these engines running a cold start injector.

Um I think only early first get ones had it. It was an extra injector at the beginning of the intake system that fed extra fuel when cold. Now the ECM just compensates on its own.

89 would not have a cold start injector.

thanks, I was told that what i was seeing spraying when I had the plugs out, def. a FUEL problem.

Only Fieros and MPFI 2.8/3.1 F-bodies had teh cold start injector.

Describe your problem, I don't understand your last post.

problem solved blown head gasket or cracked head..thanks
