  • Engine Oil?

    RE: Engine Oil?

Don't worry about the carbon build-up, it's not really doing any harm where it's at. You don't want to knock it loose and get it stuck somewhere it can do some real damage. Some guys here swear by synthetics. As far as the high mileage stuff, I don't know much about it, but how different could it be from regular oil?

well that's true, i believe the only real differences are more detergents, Reaches the engine faster then regular oil, but i went to my local Canadian tire and got a bottle of Lucas oil stabalizer. I might just pick up some regular Castrol, Quaker state or Valvoline oil doesn't matter i guess.

Don't use additives. Not needed. Just buy oil. Synthetic is nice but nothing will reverse damage.

Cleaning the carbon is a safe procedure. Use Seafoam (Yes that is the product name) and follow the directions.
