On a 1995 Buick Regal with the 3100 V6, it comes on, for now, only on the highway. I haven't bought the car yet, but need to figure out what the light is. AutoZone can't check it...it's a '95, and they don't have the connector for this particular car. Dealerships are closed now, too. Initial thinking tells me oxygen sensor. The car exhibits NO symptoms, whatsoever, although it would appear that it is using fuel more so than normal. Based on the trip meter, and the fuel guage, and assuming that the previous owner reset the trip meter, it's got less than a quarter tank after 280 miles. The car has 137,000 miles on it, and runs alright otherwise. The EGR valve has oil pushing through it. What is up with that, and could it be the cause of the SES light? I intend to get this thing on a scan tool before I purchase it, but just wanted some input from y'all. Thanks.

RE: "Service Engine Soon" light illuminated
Yeah, the scan tool revealed EGR solenoid failure on all three solenoids. Too bad they aren't $50!!!\"NASCAR is an integral part of my life. A part of me died when Dale Earnhardt died.\"
