A/C Delco's are the way to go if your car is stock. NGK's, while are made for import engines, are very acceptable as they are made to tighter, higher performance tolerances. Bosch, STAY AWAY FROM!!! , especially the bosch supers, they are made in mass without the required quality controls and can vary greatly from batch to batch. The Bosch Platium's are ok but for the money there are better options. Finally, if you have bottomless silver lined pockets, you can consider the Denso Iridium's. Absolutely the BEST plug on the market. The downside is they can be rather hard to find AND the cost for my X-11 is $12.99 PER PLUG!!!!!! Thats not a typo, 12.99 per plug, ouchy ouchy.
BTW, I dont work for any sparkplug company. I used to work for AutoZone and my statements are based soley on personal expeirence, and expeirence from customers.Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

Not sure about those (our store didnt stock them). Sounds like they are either Delco's version of platinum plugs (if so, go for it) or Delco's version of the Splitfire plug, in which case I would have to say why waste the money? With all plugs you get 1 spark per combustion cycle so having more than one tip is useless. Sure you get like.0000001 ohm less resistance per spark (since the spark has a choice and will take the path of least resistance) but really, will that small of an amount make any difference? Absolutely not.Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. actually, IIRC, AC Delco plugs have been discontinued and is being replacing them with NGK plugs. by the way, i saw this with my own eyes. a buddy bought AC Delco plugs, i pulled them out to gap them and they were NGK's.
yes NGK's are used in the import cars, but they are becoming more and more popular in the US.
the part #'s you need for NGK are TR-55 for a stock heat range, or a TR-60 for 1 heat range colder.
i would not recomend Iridium plugs yet, you cant really gap them or you risk the chance of breaking off that VERY small electrode.
