Hey everyone... My name is Ian, and I own a pontiac 6000LE (hence the name)
The car has been pretty good for me, but last week it started leaking on the fuel pressure line near the sender due to a rotten line....
so the point I'm at now, is that I have the new sender in the tank, fuel pump switched over, ready to hoist up the tank into the car, but the fuel return line connecter is stuck on the old line. I cut the old metal return line so I could get the tank out easier, so I have a 4 inch piece of fuel line to grab, but the white plastic part will not let go...
it looks like the green part
I've bought the tool, used it, no go.
I've tried prying the part, hoping it'll let go, but it won't. The fuel line will rotate inside the connector, but won't let loose at all.... no axial movement of the line
I've been struggling at this for an hour, and its starting to drive me crazy...not to mention I'm working outside in the snow on my back holding a flashlight
can anyone offer some insight on this?
thanks
Ian
