Well my oil is leaking to, it cant be the o-ring, could it??

Well, for one, i used a coper gasket for the oil pan plug, either its a crappy move that was suggested by someone (i wont mention who), or i dident tighten it enough. So i can fix that. but.....

the rest of the oil leaking is dripping off my tranny pan, its not tranny fluid. and its comming down at a nice rate, any clue what could be leaking, i mean, cmon i got that oil o-ring leak fixed 2 years ago, could it have started up again??? And now there is oil all over my NICE rebuilt tranny, i liked the nice clean look, now oil is all over it

drip.......drip drip........................drip...........drip... ..... drip...

ARGH!

so.. any suggestions...

its a 93 cutlass supreme SL, 3.1 mpfi/reman4t60-E

I know a couple people who have fixed the dist. plug o-ring several times in a short amount of time, so there is a chance that its bad after only 2 years.

Did you use the hi temp o ring, or the black one? I was told to use the brown one cause it will last a lot longer.

well this is before i ever started working on my car, (i dident even know how to change my own oil ) i beleive it was just a plain black rubber 0-ring.

my buddy told me it could be one of the following. recheck the oil pump drive seal, check the bottom of the lower intake manifold.
Or possibly a valve cover gasket, but doubtful.


but then again i still dont know how to check those. all i know how to do is change my oil ... i need someone to show me, hopefully he will be able to do a hands on training day with me.
