ok since I have put my rebuilt 3.1l in my Z24 ...every time i started the car the idle go around 2500 to 3000 rpm . i know its not normal but i dont know what is the problem. and if i shut off the engine and restart after de idle come down at 1000 to 1500 rpm??? somebody know what is my probleme ???

i search on the site and i found something about the IAC ... it could be my problem ??? it is possible that the IAC let pass to much air in the intake at idle so the motor rev up to 3000rpm at idle ????? -
I would go with either the IAC or a vacuum leak. But considering when it occurs, the IAC is a good bet.-Brad-

sounds like an IAC. or your computer could be skaling wrong. mine did that. i unplugged the ecm and plugged it back in and it was fine.\m/ Carlton \m/
