this was happening for like several months were I would hear some high pitched noises when the car was started. After the fiasco with the coolant temperature sensor failure causing the fuel pump to stay on and drain my battery now the alternator is making all kinds of noises. After a quick look I noticed that the power steering pump was leaking all over the pullies and serpentine belt. So I ordered a bunch of part hoping to get this all repair and running 100% troublefree before winter hits and temperatures go well below -20 degrees celcius here. I do now want or plan to work on the car with those kinds of temperatures if you know what I mean. lol!
What causes those crappy alternator bearings to fail? Aren't they supposed to be sealed bearings?
